Request account deletion without the app

You do not need to install or open Unsubscriber to request deletion. Email us from the Google email address you use to sign in to Unsubscriber.

Request account deletion by email

If the button does not open an email app, send an email to phoenix.digitcore@gmail.com with the subject Unsubscriber account deletion request. Include your Unsubscriber sign-in email and clearly request deletion of your account and associated data.

We verify account ownership before deleting data. We may reply to confirm your request or ask for additional ownership verification. Never send your password, one-time verification codes, payment card details, or Gmail contents. We will confirm completion by email.

Account deletion does not cancel a Google Play subscription. To stop future charges, cancel it separately in Google Play: profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Unsubscriber → Cancel subscription. You can request account deletion even if you no longer have the app.

The data removed and retained, including recovery-copy retention, are explained below.

Delete directly in the Android app

  1. Open Unsubscriber.
  2. Sign in to the account you want to delete. If your sign-in is older than 15 minutes, sign out and sign in again.
  3. Open Settings.
  4. Choose Delete account and confirm.

This permanently removes the Unsubscriber Firebase Auth user and account data associated with that sign-in, including synced subscription records, recoverable deleted items, Gmail scan markers and encrypted credential, screenshot-analysis cache, and Play purchase mappings. This is different from deleting an individual subscription, which remains recoverable for up to 30 days unless Delete forever is selected.

One minimal, unlinkable redeemed marker is retained solely to enforce the one-free-trial-per-device rule. It contains no user ID, email, name, raw Android ID, or raw device proof and cannot be linked back to the deleted account.

Account deletion also removes associated support conversations, support-access permissions, admin change records, administrative session-operation records, and complimentary-access mappings. A temporary deletion-security lock retains an account identifier and timestamps to prevent delayed writes. After successful deletion, scheduled cleanup normally removes the lock within 48 hours; an incomplete deletion remains locked until resolved.

Disaster recovery copies

Operational database backups are configured for daily recovery with a seven-day retention policy, and point-in-time recovery retains up to seven days of available history after enablement. Existing recovery copies may retain deleted account data, including encrypted credentials and subscription metadata, until their configured retention expires. Access is restricted to authorized administrators for recovery purposes. Deleted accounts are not intentionally reactivated from backups. Active account deletion removes live application records as described above.
